Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) — The co-creator and executive producer of TV’s biggest comedy is sticking his toe into streaming.

Netflix has ordered 20 episodes of a new comedy called Disjointed, from The Big Bang Theory executive producer Chuck Lorre.  It stars American Horror Story alumna Kathy Bates as a lifelong advocate for legalization who’s finally living her dream as the owner of a Los Angeles-area cannabis dispensary. Joining her are her twenty-something son and a deeply troubled security guard, who are said to be pretty much high all the time.

Lorre also co-created and executive-produced Two and a Half Men, which at the height of its popularity was also TV’s top-rated sitcom.

There’s no word yet on when we’ll see Disjointed.
