NBCUniversal(LOS ANGELES) — The Judge Cuts continued on Wednesday’s edition of America’s Got Talent, with seven more acts advancing to the Live Rounds.

Tween singer Kadie Lee Roberson, contortionist Vello Vaher, singer Moya Angela, 10-year-old magician Kadan Bart Rockett, transgender comedienne Julia Scotti and knife-throwing couple Deadly Games all advanced. Sofie Dossi, a 14-year-old contortionist, was sent straight to the live shows via “the Golden Buzzer,” which is also back for this round.

Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B were back behind the judges’ table to offer their opinions and decide which acts would advance. Helping them this week was R&B star Reba McEntire.

Here’s a rundown of some of Wednesday’s highlights:

Texas native Kadie Lynn Roberson, 12, was the first act to take the stage, singing Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart.” Reba noted the tween had a stage presence Reba didn’t have until she was 20. Simon thought Kadie deserved to advance and would fight to make that happen.

Vello Vaher, 52, is an acrobat and contortionist who performed several stunts — including flying across the stage holding himself on the rope by his teeth – all with his body in impossible positions. Howie noted AGT is about originality and Vello is “the poster boy for originality.”

Another contortionist, 14-year-old Sofie Dossi, performed a series of stunts, capped off by hitting a bull’s-eye with a bow and a flaming arrow using her feet, over her head. Reba, declaring “actions speak louder than words,” pressed her Golden Buzzer for the teen, sending her straight through to the live shows.

Former Broadway singer Moya Angela came a step closer to realizing her dream of making it as a solo artist, belting out Heart’s “Alone.” Reba declared Moya touched her heart and soul. Mel B called the singer “a true powerhouse.” Simon also loved the performance, but not the song choice, noting Angela didn’t take any risks.

After donning a fake nose and glasses, 10-year-old magician Kadan Bart Rockett produced six girls from a tiny suitcase. When the nose and glasses came off, it was not Kadan, but his sister and assistant Brooklyn Nicole standing onstage. Kadan reappeared next to the judges’ table. Simon called the trick “real-life Harry Potter.”

Transgender comedienne Julia Scotti, 63, had the judges in stitches with jokes about aging. Mel B called her “warm and likeable.” Howie declared the comedian was funny and real. Simon loved the “naughty” aspect of Julia’s routine.

Finally, knife-throwing couple Deadly Games kept everyone in suspense, as husband Alfredo popped balloons his wife Anna held in her hands and mouth. Next, he placed Anna on the “Spinning Wheel of Death” and threw knives at her as she spun around.

America’s Got Talent returns next Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. Eastern time on NBC.
