Mike Coppola/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Forbes has spoken: R&B superstar Beyonce and her husband, rapper and music mogul Jay Z, continue their reign as one of the world’s foremost power couples with the news they’re this year’s highest-paid celebrity couple.
Bey and Jay have made $107.5 million combined, with Bey garnering $54 million and Jay Z a cool $53.5 million in the past year. That also pus them on the Forbes forthcoming Celebrity 100 list of the world’s highest celebrity earners. Beyonce slides onto the list at the number 34 spot, while hubby makes it a number 36.
Bey and Jay previously topped Forbes highest-earning celebrity couples list in 2013. Last year, that honor belonged to Taylor Swift and her former boyfriend, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.
Swift isn’t doing too badly this year, either — Forbes ranks her the highest-earning celebrity of 2016, with total estimated earnings of $170 million.
