Stuart C. Wilson/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Idris Elba’s hard work is paying off.

In fact, the 43-year-old actor’s ability to switch from the small to the big screen is what put his name in the history books – last January, he became the first male actor to take home two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Still, Elba fears he may be doing too much.

“I do worry sometimes about whether I’m going to burn out,” he says in Interview magazine. “Not burn myself out, but burn my art out, with audiences going, ‘Ah, yeah, I’ve seen enough now, thanks very much.'”

Elba’s worries aren’t unwarranted. Along with his award-winning performances in 2015, in Beasts of No Nation and TV’s Luther, Elba has also lent his talents to this year’s Zootopia, The Jungle Book, Finding Dory and Bastille Day, and also stars in Star Trek Beyond, out July 22.

He’s also currently filming two movies, The Dark Tower and Thor: Ragnarok, and deejays in his spare time. He even contributed remixes to The Jungle Book soundtrack. And did we mention a film he plans to direct is currently in production?

“When you break it down like that, it’s unhealthy to have that much going on,” Elba said. “I don’t want to sound ungrateful or anything, but I sleep less, I’m constantly thinking, I’m constantly multitasking, and I really don’t know what the effects are going to be when I’m older.”

So why not slow down?

“I don’t ever stop. Not because I’m greedy or anything, but I’m always creating, debating with the part of my brain that is dormant. Wondering how I can move in and create a bit more space and take a bit more time,” he said, adding, “It’s almost like the more I achieve, the more capacity I have to achieve.”
