Jimmy Kimmel found a great video last night called “Man vs. Tuba.” It’s an overly enthusiastic reporter for Fox News 10 in Phoenix, Arizona, covering a local high school before a football game last Friday.
At one point he wades in among the musicians, and stuffs his mic in front of a horn player. But when he does it to the tuba player, he actually drops his microphone down INTO the tuba, and the audio goes completely haywire.
He eventually gets it out though. And as the anchor makes clear, it’s actually a sousaphone, not a tuba.
