Chris Hollo/Grand Ole OpryGarth Brooks‘ “Friends in Low Places” could be getting an all-star update to celebrate the song’s 25th anniversary. Billboard is reporting rumors that Garth is re-recording the song with his hero George Strait, as well as Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban. The new version apparently includes the third verse of the song Garth includes in his concerts.

“Friends in Low Places” was released in August 1990 and would go on to win CMA Single of the Year. The track helped Garth’s 1990 album, No Fences, be certified 17 times platinum by the RIAA.

Garth’s representative isn’t commenting on the new version of “Friends in Low Places” at this time. We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
