Warner Bros.(LOS ANGELES) — So much for, “I’ll be there for you.”
Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry both missed their Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston’s recent wedding to Justin Theroux. They have a good excuse, though: They weren’t invited.
Speaking with People magazine at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills Monday, LeBlanc didn’t seem upset that he didn’t get an invite. He said of the newlyweds, “I think they’re a great couple. I think she’s happy. And that’s all I care about is that Jen’s happy.”
LeBlanc noted that he was invited to Aniston’s 2000 wedding to Brad Pitt, but he was unable to attend that ceremony due to work commitments.
He said of last week’s wedding, held at Aniston and Theroux’s Bel Air mansion, “If she wanted me there, I would have been there.”
Perry shared similar feelings with People magazine, saying he was happy for the couple. When asked if he was sorry he missed the ceremony, he replied, “I wasn’t invited. So what can you do?”
A couple of other Friends cast members, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, were among the guests at the wedding.
