Al Levine/NBC(NEW YORK) — He was one of the great young comic talents that left us too soon, and now there’s a documentary about him from his brother.
Chris Farley’s brother, Kevin, is the producer of the documentary I Am Chris Farley. The purpose of the film, according to Kevin: “I wanted to make it about his work and his comedy legacy primarily, and shy away from all the salaciousness that’s been going on with him too much.”
Chris died in 1997, but the film tribute is still, at times, painful for Kevin. He says, “I just keep soldiering on because I think it’s a good film. I’m proud of it and I think it pays tribute to him, which I think he deserves.”
