James White/E! Entertainment(LOS ANGELES) — Caitlyn Jenner, who has been transitioning from a man to a woman, can check another milestone off her list. On Sunday night’s episode of I Am Cait, Jenner wore a swimsuit in public for the first time.
“It did feel very freeing,” Jenner said of the experience at a Napa Valley pool. “I did see my reflection in the glass door. Looked pretty good.”
Jenner sported a white one-piece bathing suit. It was a more modest suit than her step-daughter Kim Kardashian suggested. “I love my daughter Kimberly to death, but this is one that she would wear. It is probably a little bit more revealing in the cleavage department,” she added.
Jenner explained what this moment meant to her in her transition. “Putting on a bathing suit represents a lot to me. It is kind of scary because, you know, you are really exposing yourself,” she said.
A new episode of I Am Cait airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on E!
