Nathaniel Chadwick/NBC(NEW YORK) — A date has been set for Bill Cosby to answer questions under oath about sexual abuse allegations.
October 9 could mark the first time in years Cosby will be questioned directly in a legal setting about the dozens of sex abuse accusations he’s facing. A Los Angeles judge has cleared the way for Cosby to be deposed in a case against the comedian brought by Judy Huth, a woman who says Cosby assaulted her at the Playboy mansion in 1974, when she was 15. The other allegations will likely be brought up in connection with Huth’s accusation.
Cosby’s attorneys previously tried to block the questioning, but that appeal was denied. His lawyers say Huth tried to extort him.
