On Sunday night’s Watch What Happens Live, the actress spoke about her botched date with Brad Pitt, when the two attended the MTV Movie Awards in 1989. Reportedly, Applegate ditched Pitt during the date for another guy.
When host Andy Cohen asked who the lucky guy was, Applegate was tight-lipped. “[Do] I have to say it? I don’t have to do nothing. I don’t have to do nothing…,” she quipped.
Still, Applegate did reveal that although the person she ditched Pitt for was a well-known person, he wasn’t an actor.
Asked if she ever dated Pitt again, Applegate said, “No.”
Pitt is now married to another Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie.
