Nick Gordon’s Dad Says Son Is ‘Distraught’ over Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Death

Lifetime(NEW YORK) — Nick Gordon hasn’t said much since he entered rehab earlier this year. Now, his father, Jack Walker Jr., had told Access Hollywood how his son is dealing with the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, his partner.

“He’s distraught. I can’t put it into words right now,” Walker said.

Walker also denied reports his son was suicidal following Brown’s death.

Gordon’s father added his thoughts on his son’s late girlfriend. “Krissi was a blessing to this world, she had the power to brighten the day of anyone in her presence. She will dearly be missed,” he said.

Brown, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown, died Sunday. She was 22 years old. Brown was found in her bathtub by Gordon, and a friend on January 31. After suffering a brain injury and being hospitalized for months, where she was kept in a medically induced coma for a time, she was moved to hospice care last month.

Gordon and Bobbi Kristina’s family have long been at odds. A lawsuit filed by her estate and obtained by E! News alleged Gordon, who was living with Bobbi Kristina at the time she suffered the brain injury, committed domestic abuse and made unauthorized money transfers from Bobbi Kristina’s bank account into his own when they were together. The suit also claims Gordon stole more than $11,000 from Bobbi Kristina’s account after she was hospitalized.
