Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar Score MTV VMA Nods

MTV(LOS ANGELES) — Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar lead the nominees for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

In addition to scoring Video of the Year nods, Sheeran, Ronson, Mars and Lamar also scored Best Male Video nominations, along with The Weeknd and Nick Jonas.  Beyoncé and Taylor are nominated in the Best Female Video category, too, as are Nicki Minaj, Sia and Ellie Goulding.

Overall, Ed Sheeran has the most nominations, with six, followed by five for Beyoncé.  Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift scored two apiece.  One of Kendrick’s nods is for his collaboration with Taylor on “Bad Blood.”
