Mathew Imaging/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) — The nominations for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced Thursday morning, and celebrities are reacting to the news. Here’s a round-up of some of their comments so far:
Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, Veep): “As President, my staff and I are too busy doing the people’s business to watch television. Nonetheless, we are thrilled to be a part of this celebration of creativity. (Go Jon Hamm!)”
Kevin Spacey (Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, House of Cards): “Congrats to #Netflix/MRC & the team on #HouseofCards for 11 #Emmys noms! Proud to work w/ all & to be included too!”
Bob Odenkirk (Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Better Call Saul): “I am truly blown away at this nomination. I am grateful to Vince [Gilligan], Peter [Gould], and the writing staff. The Emmy Awards, hosted by Andy Samberg, will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 20. Fox will air the ceremony live from coast to coast.
