AMC dropped an epic, four-minute trailer at Comic-Con to promote the new season, which begins October 11.
The very long trailer shows Rick reuniting with an old friend, Morgan, which happened in the final seconds of the show’s bloody fifth season finale. As the old allies get reacquainted, however, it becomes obvious they’re at odds as to how to run the protected enclave of Alexandria.
“I don’t take chances anymore,” Rick tells him.
“Then you shouldn’t,” Morgan replies, later admitting he has to stop Rick.
AMC also announced the spin-off Fear the Walking Dead will debut Sunday, August 23.
