Luke Bryan Plays First Stadium Show in Nashville at Vanderbilt Stadium

CMALuke Bryan played his first stadium show in Nashville Saturday night with 35,000 fans in the audience. Florida Georgia Line, Dustin Lynch, Thomas Rhett and Randy Houser were also on the bill at Vanderbilt Stadium, and they all joined Luke throughout his headlining set. Luke led Dustin, Thomas and Randy in a sing-along of the Maroon 5 pop hit “Sugar,” and FGL joined Luke for a spot-on cover of Alabama‘s “Mountain Music.” A joint performance of Journey‘s “Faithfully” followed, though FGL’s Tyler Hubbard admitted he really didn’t know the words to that one.

Luke’s 90-minute set was filled with hit after hit, including his latest single, “Kick the Dust Up,” and the show-closing “Country Girl (Shake It for Me).” A full-on fireworks display erupted over the stage as Luke said goodbye to the capacity crowd.
