Robert Downey Jr. and Kim Kardashian Make “Forbes'” Celebrity 100

Paul Drinkwater/NBC(NEW YORK) — Robert Downey Jr., Ellen DeGeneres and Kim Kardashian are just some of the stars featured on Forbes Celebrity 100 list this year.

The Celebrity 100 details the world’s highest paid celebrities in 2015.

Downey, number eight, moved up two spots from 2014 when he was listed at number 10. The highest-paid actor in Hollywood made his $80 million windfall thanks to his role as Iron Man in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which raked in $1.4 billion at the box office. He also reportedly made $40 million from the forthcoming film, Captain America: Civil War, out in the U.S. May 6, 2016.

Although DeGeneres, at number 12, fell seven spots from the year before, the daytime talk show host still made $75 million this year. Reportedly, DeGerenes can thank her production company, Very Good Productions, which currently has five shows on the air. She also has a show, based on Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham, in development at Netflix, according to Forbes

Kardashian moved up the list this year to number 33 as her earnings nearly doubled in 2015, according to Forbes. The reality star’s earnings of $52.5 million are partly due to her popular mobile game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. And of course, she continued to make money from her family’s popular reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and its spin-offs.

Other entertainers to make the list include Jennifer Lawrence, Jackie Chan, Scarlett Johansson, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Tom Cruise. Also, retired late night show host David Letterman made the list at number 67 and funnyman Kevin Hart came in at number 95.

Boxer Floyd Mayweather took the number one spot, raking in a whopping $300 million, while his boxing rival Manny Pacquiao made the number two spot with $160 million.
