Kent Smith/SHOWTIME(LOS ANGELES) — Move over, Idris Elba: you may have some stiff competition for the role of James Bond.
It’s been widely speculated that Elba could succeed Daniel Craig as 007, but according to one U.K. bookmaker, another British actor is hot on his heels: former Homeland star Damian Lewis.
William Hill’s website has odds for the next James Bond star. Lewis is listed at 6/4, with Elba at 5/2. Tom Hardy, Superman actor Henry Cavill, and Michael Fassbender also rank pretty high.
Lewis’ stock has risen after some bets were placed on the actor for reasons that have not been made clear.
The next Bond movie featured Craig, Spectre, hits theaters in November.
