Lionsgate(LOS ANGELES) — Hunger Games fans got a sneak peek of what to expect from the upcoming sequel, Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, Wednesday as Jennifer Lawrence released the film’s first image.
“6.9.15 #MockingjayPart2 #Unite,” Lawrence wrote on Facebook, along with a picture featuring Lawrence as Katniss, Liam Hemsworth as Gale, and newcomer Evan Ross as Messalla. You also see Finnick, played by Sam Claflin, in the background. They’re all holding weapons as they look intently into the distance.
It’s not clear, but June 9 might be the date of the first official trailer for the highly-anticipated final Hunger Games film.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 is set to hit theaters on November 20.
