ABC/Kelsey McNeal(LOS ANGELES) — Chad Michael Murray has welcomed his first child, a baby boy, with his wife and Chosen co-star, Sarah Roemer.
The former One Tree Hill star revealed the news on Twitter. It was paired with an apology to former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly, whose charity event he had to miss thanks to the birth.
“Sry I’m missin @JimKellyInc charity this year in Buffalo. My fav event 2 attend, but we’ve been blessed with a son. Gods greatest gift,” Murray tweeted Sunday night, before adding, “Sarah & I couldn’t b happier & intend 2 spend many a day having family adventures & watching @buffalobills football! & also @Chargers now.”
Earlier this year, Murray revealed via Us Weekly that he was married and expecting his first child. The magazine reported Murray and Roemer had been dating since 2014. This is the first marriage for Roemer and the second for Murray, who was married to Sophia Bush until 2006.
