J.K. Rowling Ribs “Harry Potter's” Matthew Lewis for Sexy Photo Shoot

Warner Bros.(NEW YORK) — Matthew Lewis, the actor who played Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series, is all grown up.

The one-time child actor recently showed off his toned physique on the cover of Attitude, the U.K.’s gay lifestyle magazine. And inside the magazine, there are pics where he’s just wearing underwear and not much else.

Lewis’ new look is getting tons of reaction online, including from Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. The writer tweeted: “@Mattdavelewis Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God’s sake.”

The acclaimed author was referring to the time Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, was naked in a play.

The best part is Lewis’ response: “Well, this is awkward. Sorry, Jo …” he tweeted.

In the end, Rowling responded in support. “@Mattdavelewis I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on,” she wrote.

Lewis, now 25, started in the Potter series back in 2001, when he wasn’t even a teenager yet. He will next be seen in Me Before You, a film adaptation of Jojo Moyes’ book of the same name in which a woman finds herself taking care of a recently paralyzed man. The film is set for release June 3, 2016.
