See Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs in First Teaser for Biopic

Universal(LOS ANGELES) — Aaron Sorkin’s Steve Jobs has had a rocky road, but in the first teaser-trailer to be released, Michael Fassbender certainly looks the part of the late, visionary Apple co-founder.

The first look opens with someone, presumably Jobs, comparing what he says are the two biggest events of the 20th century: the Allies winning WWII, and “this” — which isn’t revealed.

“You can’t write code. You are not an engineer. What do you do?” we hear from Seth Rogen as co-founder Steve Wozniak.  “The musicians play the instruments. I play the orchestra…I sat in a garage and invented the future,” says Jobs.

Later on in the clip, we hear another voice, “No one sees the world the same way you do.”

The teaser-trailer then closes with our first good look at Fassbender as Jobs, in Jobs’ classic turtleneck.  Fassbender stepped in after Steve Jobs lost its original leads, Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale.

Steve Jobs, also starring Kate Winslet and Jeff Daniels, will hit theaters October 9.
