Monkey Business/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Former Dancing With the Stars contestant Amy Purdy is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Daniel Gale, she revealed on social media.
“Just said ‘yes’ to this amazing man!” she tweeted Thursday. “#engaged #love #puertorico.”
Purdy, 35, who last year came in second place while competing on Dancing With the Stars, appeared with Gale on The Amazing Race in 2012. He proposed during a romantic getaway to Puerto Rico and took her on a helicopter ride to a surprise location.
“‘Yes’ was the answer!!!!!!! Couldn’t be happier and more proud to be engaged to the love of my life @amypurdygurl! What an amazing journey it’s been and what an exciting future we have.
