CBS Broadcasting Inc.(NEW YORK) — Tina Fey revealed more of herself than the public has ever seen before when she took off her dress during an appearance Thursday on the CBS Late Show with David Letterman.
The CBS censors didn’t have to worry, though. Fey was wearing Spanx and heels.
Before she removed her blue dress, Fey explained to Letterman that because he’s retiring, she will no longer have the need to wear a fancy dress on a late night talk show.
Fey said she won’t wear a dress for any appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon or the Late Late Show with James Corden. “What am I gonna put a dress on for Jimmy? That’s creepy. He’s like my brother,” Fey explained.
“I’m gonna wear like special underwear for James Corden? That’s not going to happen,” she added.
On the front of Fey’s Spanx were the words “Bye David.” On her butt was “#lastdressever.”
Letterman’s last show airs May 20.
