ABC/Randy Holmes(LOS ANGELES) — Danielle Perez, the woman with no feet who won a treadmill from Drew Carey on a recent broadcast of The Price Is Right, was Jimmy Kimmel’s special guest on his talk show Wednesday night.
Perez, a comedian, became a viral sensation after it was revealed she won the piece of fitness equipment as well as a sauna on the game show.
Perez took to Twitter to express how “hilarious” she found the situation, and said as much to Kimmel, who explained that Carey wanted to be there for Perez’ chat with Jimmy, but was out of town.
Kimmel asked, “Did you realize when the curtain opened or whatever that the treadmill was there?”
Perez replied, “No, I was just so focused on cash and prizes.”
Perez said of the types of prizes that are used for the Price Is Right games, “It’s completely random. My best friend tweeted, ‘Well, I guess we know it’s not rigged.'”
Perez told Kimmel that when people keep asking her what she’s going to do with the treadmill, she replies, “‘I guess I’ll just do with it what everyone else does, which is use it as a piece of furniture.”
Kimmel played a quick Jimmy Kimmel Live! version of Showcase Showdown with the good-natured winner, having her guess the price of a jar of peanut butter, which Perez confessed to hating. She won an all-expense paid cruise on a Royal Caribbean ship, which Kimmel announcer Dickie Barrett repeatedly stressed was “handicap accessible.”
