Critics' Choice Television Awards Nominations Announced

iStock/Thinkstock(LOS ANGELES) — The nominations for the 5th annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards were announced on Wednesday.

The recently concluded FX drama Justified and the HBO miniseries Olive Kitteridge lead the way with five nominations each.

Five programs earned four nods, including the FX series The Americans and CBS’ The Good Wife.

HBO topped all networks with 27 nominations.

The nominees for best drama series are The Americans, Empire, Game of Thrones, The Good Wife, Homeland, Justified and Orange Is the New Black.

The contenders for best comedy series are Broad City, Jane the Virgin, Mom, Silicon Valley, Transparent, Veep and You’re the Worst.

The Critics’ Choice Television Awards, presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association, will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday, May 31. It will air live on A&E.
