Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) — Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed kicked off their life together as husband and wife in style.
The Vampire Diaries actor and the Twilight actress jetted off to not one, but two exotic honeymoon destinations, sources tell People magazine.
The couple, who tied the knot in Malibu a week ago, started off by spending a few days in Tulum, Mexico, in an oceanfront suite at the hotel Ana y Jose.
A source tells the magazine that Ian and Nikki “enjoyed the beach and the ocean. They also went on several adventurous outings near their hotel.”
“They seemed to have a great honeymoon,” adds the source.
The newlyweds’ next stop was Rio de Janeiro, where they enjoyed dinner on Sunday with Somerhalder’s Vampire Diaries co-stars, Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin.
As Somerhalder and Reed dined on Brazilian food and red wine, “they were kissing nonstop,” an eyewitness tells People, noting, “They looked very happy.”
A source close to the couple adds, “They are over the moon to finally be married.”
