(LONDON) — J.K. Rowling wants to make amends for one Harry Potter character’s death — Fred Weasley.
Over the weekend, she tweeted, “Today I would just like to say: I’m really sorry about Fred. *Bows head in acceptance of your reasonable ire*”
She added, “I thought I might apologise for one death per anniversary. Fred was the worst for me, so I started with him.”

.@Brieuc26Rankin I thought I might apologise for one death per anniversary. Fred was the worst for me, so I started with him.

Fred died towards the end of the series during the battle at Hogwarts.
What about Dobby?
Rowling also addressed a fan when they asked “what would you say to someone who has failed to find meaning and wants to finally give up?”
