ABC/BOB D’AMICO(NEW YORK) — One Modern Family star just proved she’s just like any other teenager. Ariel Winter went to her high school prom Tuesday with her longtime boyfriend, Laurent Claude Gaudette.
The 17-year-old showed a preview of her prom night on her Instagram page. Along with a picture with her dad, Glenn Workman, the actress wrote: “Dad saw me off to #prom!! Love him.”
Winter also posted a picture of her, wearing a navy blue floor-length gown, and Gaudette, who looked dapper in a black tuxedo. “Shmoopberry and I take prom,” she wrote.
Days earlier, Winter insta-bragged about the unique way Gaudette asked her to prom. “Got asked to prom with someone jumping out of a box pelting flowers at me and holding up a prom sign. I love you so much baby!” she wrote as the caption to an accompanying video.
Winter, who has walked many red carpets, has always wanted to enjoy the same events as normal teens. “I’ve always wanted to go to a school dance,” she told Teen Vogue in 2013. “I hope I get asked.”
