(NEW YORK) — Mark Ruffalo, who stars as The Incredible Hulk in the Avengers series, has a bone to pick with Marvel.
He’s concerned that female Avenger Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson on the big screen, has been left out of various Avengers-related apparel, toys and other merchandise. Some fans have voiced their complaints on social media, and Ruffalo has reached out to Marvel directly to address the matter.
Ruffalo tweeted, “@Marvel we need more #BlackWidow merchandise for my daughters and nieces. Pretty please.” He also retweeted fans who posted similar comments.
Ruffalo reprises his role of Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which hits theaters Friday.
Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
