Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Found Out About “Full House” Sequel When You Did

Taylor Hill/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — When Netflix announced that a sequel of Full House was in the works, many wondered if Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would reprise their role of the youngest Tanner sister, Michelle. They’re wondering the same thing.

“We just found out about it today,” Mary-Kate told Women’s Wear Daily Tuesday. “I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening.”

The Olsens told the fashion publication they hadn’t heard anything about it until Stamos revealed it Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

“I’m shocked I haven’t heard from John [Stamos],” said Mary-Kate.

“I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn’t even talk about it,” Ashley added. “I’m going to call [him] and get his perspective.”

The sequel will be called Fuller House and will star Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.  It will also feature guest appearances by John Stamos.

Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin are all in negotiations.

Fuller House is set to premiere in 2016.
