(LOS ANGELES) — The man accused of stalking actress Sandra Bullock last summer has a preliminary court hearing on Thursday.
According to a court calendar, Joshua James Corbett was charged in a break-in at Bullock’s home. He is set to appear in court after pleading not guilty.
Corbett allegedly climbed a fence to get onto the Gravity star’s property and broke into the home at about 1 a.m. on June 8, 2014.
Bullock was home at the time of the break-in.
Police responded to a 911 call and arrested Corbett at the scene. He was not armed at the time of his arrest, though he was later charged with possession of a machine gun, in addition to the charges related to the break-in.
Corbett could face up to seven years and four months in prison if convicted.
