“Real Housewives'” Kenya Moore Reveals New Boyfriend, Says “Millionaire Matchmaker” Worked

Alex Martinez/Bravo(NEW YORK) — Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kenya Moore has found love, thanks to another Bravo show, Millionaire Matchmaker. Matchmaker Patti Stanger helped Kenya open herself to love, and set her up with her now-boyfriend, James.

Moore showed off her boyfriend for the first time on Instagram Monday. Along with a picture of the smiling couple, Moore wrote as a caption: “Sometimes you can spend your whole life looking for Prince Charming when a King arrives. Thank you @pattistanger and @cynthiabailey10 and my fans for your love and support and desire for my happiness. #matchmaker #KingJames #FriendsFirst #MillionaireMatchmaker.”

Earlier this month, Moore spoke to ABC Radio about the experience of working with Stanger. “I think Patti is amazing. I think she is really intuitive when it comes to people and who might be a good fit and steering you away from your old choices,” Moore said.

Moore said she was suffering thanks to childhood trauma — specifically, she felt abandoned by her mother. The reality star has been pretty open on RHOA about her failed relationship with her mother, and the fact that she was largely raised by her grandmother.  But Moore also admitted she chose the wrong men to date.

“I think that I gravitated to emotionally or just unavailable men. Meaning, okay, why am I dating someone that lives in a different continent than myself?” said Moore. “What do I really expect to happen from this relationship? Is that person going to move to America? Am I going to move to Africa? It’s just not realistic.”

Moore said she’s had no trouble finding men willing to marry her. In fact, she’s had eight marriage proposals. But the never-married star says she’s still open to walking down the aisle.

“I’m not complicated when it comes to men and that’s why I’ve had the proposals that I’ve had,” Moore told ABC Radio. “For me, whether that’s a marriage or whether that’s a lifetime-long partner, I’m open to it. But I definitely know I want a partner in all aspects of my life.”

Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern on Bravo.
