Banderas, 54, announced on Thursday he’s heading to London to study at Central Saint Martins, according to People magazine.
The big reveal took place on an ITV show in Britain, where the famed actor said, “It’s something that has been on my mind for a long time and probably one of the best schools in the world is here … and so I am going to start studying with them.”
In fact, Melanie Griffth’s ex said heading back to school has rejuvenated the veteran actor.
“It makes me feel actually very young to put the elbows on the table again and try to understand another reality,” he added, also nothing he won’t be leaving acting behind by any means. “Of course I won’t stop my professional life, I’ll continue acting, directing, but this is a new thing.”
