NYC Museum to Feature “Mad Men” Exhibit

Frank Ockenfels 3/AMC(NEW YORK) — Diehard Mad Men fans just got a big reason to visit New York City.

Not only is it where the series is based, but now, the Museum of the Moving Image in Manhattan is featuring an exhibit dedicated to the show.

“Matthew Weiner’s Mad Men” will run through June 14 and features everything from Don Draper’s office to notes and storylines for the show from Weiner, the show’s creator, himself.

The timing is poignant: The final few episodes of the AMC series will begin on April 5.

For Weiner, Mad Men has been a deeply personal project.

“For me, I wanted to write about why I was 35 years old and had so many good things in my life and was kind of unhappy still,” he told ABC News last year. “And I wanted to sort of address that idea of … people who have a lot, saying ‘Why do I feel this way?'”
