(NEW YORK) — It’s safe to say there is a lot of excitement over the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The latest trailer for the Marvel sequel set a record with more than 35 million views in 24 hours following its debut last week. The previous mark for a trailer was set by Avengers: Age of Ultron, which scored 34.3 million viewers for an earlier preview released in October.
Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released on May 1. It features the returns of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, plus the addition of James Spader as the voice of the villainous robot Ultron.
Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
