(NEW YORK) — Bill Cosby has been silent in public since the multiple allegations of rape against him began surfacing. Now, he’s resurfaced — though not to address the accusations.
Cosby appears in a 10-second video promoting his next tour date, which was released to fans.
“Yes, I’m going to be in Wheeling, West Virgina,” he says in the video, sitting in a chair and speaking on a rotary-dial telephone while wearing what appears to be plum-colored pajamas. “And you know I’ll be hilarious. Can’t wait.”
The video also aired Monday morning on ABC’s Good Morning America.
More than two dozen women have accused the 77-year-old comic and entertainer of sexually assaulting them over the decades. Cosby has denied the allegations and has never been criminally charged in connection with them.
