(CHICAGO) — Pop star Lady Gaga and Vince Vaughn took a cold dip in Lake Michigan in Chicago on Sunday for a worthy cause.
They both took part in the Chicago Polar Plunge, along with more than 4,500 others, as part of a fundraiser for the Special Olympics.
When asked prior to his plunge what his approach would be, Vaughn, who’s from nearby Lake Forest, answered, “I have not given it too much thought. My thought process was, ‘I think it’s going to be cold.'”
Vaughn wore a Chicago Blackhawks jersey for the occasion.
Gaga jumped into the 32-degree water with her fiancé, Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney.
