A.M.P.A.S.(r)/Michael Yada(LOS ANGELES) — Everyone is buzzing about Lady Gaga’s epic Sound of Music tribute Sunday night that also featured a big hug from the movie’s iconic star Julie Andrews.
Gaga’s pipes were on full display and she dressed in a chic silver gown that did the movie tribute justice. The Oscars celebrated the movie’s 50th anniversary.
After her amazing performance and welcoming of Andrews to the stage, Gaga posted a sweet photo.
“Me right now. What a night. Congratulations to all the nominees, performers, and winners! Let’s party!” she wrote with an emoji of a martini. In the pic, Gaga is on the floor, smiling after earning a well-deserved standing ovation from the Oscars audience.
