“Fifty Shades” In Control of Box Office Once Again

“Fifty Shades of Grey” – Focus Features(NEW YORK) — Fifty Shades of Grey controlled the box office again this weekend, bringing in more money than any other film for the second week in a row.

The movie, based on the best-selling erotic novel by E.L. James, stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. It brought in over $23 million this weekend, bringing its total gross through two weeks to $130,148,000.

The top three films at the box office remained the same as last weekend, with McFarland, USA; The DUFF; and Hot Tub Time Machine 2 breaking in at fourth, fifth and seventh respectively.
