“The Breakfast Club” Back in Theaters for 30th Anniversary

Photo by John W. Ferguson/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — As of Friday, you could buy tickets for Fifty Shades of Grey, or you could relive your youth with a classic: The Breakfast Club.

Tickets are on sale now at Fathomevents.com and will be good to see The Breakfast Club either on March 26 or March 31.

The movie is coming back to theaters to celebrate it’s 30th anniversary. The John Hughes classic, starring Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Emilio Estevez and Judd Nelson first hit theaters 30 years ago this coming Sunday on Feb. 15.

The movie centers around five teens stuck in high school detention. They all come from different walks of life, but somehow, become friends.

The Fathom site reads, “Take a look back at this iconic film with a special featurette including personal insights from cast members, as well as contributions from the filmmakers. … This 30th Anniversary release includes the newly restored feature that has never been seen before on the big screen plus a newly remixed bonus content featurette titled The Breakfast Club — A Retrospective that takes a look back at the iconic film.”

Tickets are available for theaters across the country.
