Keith Bernstein/HBO(NEW YORK) — It’s time to travel back to Westeros! Okay, Season five of Game of Thrones may not be back just yet, but HBO is offering fans an inside look at the production of the new season on Sunday night.
A 26-minute featurette set to air at 7:30 p.m. Sunday will give Thrones fans a tour of “various Season 5 sets in Croatia, Spain and Ireland,” HBO says. Fans will also get to “see cast members preparing to shoot scenes” and hear from members of the show’s crew.
When the special was announced earlier this year, many fans held out hope that they would get an early look at some content from the upcoming season, set to begin in April. While it’s not clear how much the featurette will show of the filming of new episodes, it’s sure to whet fans’ appetites.
The show, based on George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” series of novels, is set for its season five premiere on April 12.
