Report: Kardashians Won't Do Press for “Keeping Up” to Avoid Bruce Jenner Transition Questions

Timothy White/E!(LOS ANGELES) — Bruce Jenner’s apparent transition to a woman has accomplished the seemingly impossible: it made the Kardashian clan temporarily publicity shy.

According to TMZ, the entire K clan has turned down doing promotion for the 10th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, just to avoid the inevitable questions about the new chapter in the life of the family’s one-time patriarch.

Jenner’s transition will reportedly be chronicled in his own reality series that the gossip site says could air as early as May — which, not coincidentally coincides with the season finale of Keeping Up, which kicks off its tenth season Sunday night.

TMZ speculates that by avoiding comment on the subject now, the Kardashians are hoping to draw audiences to the new season of their E! show, on which Bruce’s life change will be addressed.
