Report: Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Tie the Knot in Civil Ceremony

LEON NEAL/AFP/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are reportedly now husband and wife, days before they will reportedly hold a wedding in the Bahamas.

A source tells People magazine the couple officially tied the knot in a civil ceremony at their Los Angeles home on Tuesday.

Depp, 51, and Heard, 28, reportedly will stage a wedding on the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s private island in the Bahamas, Little Hall’s Pond Cay.

The two met while working on their 2011 film The Rum Diary. They became romantically involved after Depp’s split from French actress Vanessa Paradis in 2012 after 14 years.

Depp and Heard got engaged in January of 2014.

This is Depp’s second marriage; he was previously married to makeup artist Lori Anne Allison. He has two kids with Paradis.

Depp currently stars in the movie Mortdecai, which was a box office disappointment upon its debut last month.
