ABC(NEW YORK) — Rosie Perez is indeed returning to ABC’s The View.
The actress will make her return Tuesday, alongside guests comedian Martin Short, and Fresh Off the Boat stars Randall Park and Hudson Yang.
Perez took a break to rehearse for Larry David’s forthcoming Broadway play, Fish in the Dark, which begins with previews in early February before it officially opens the following month. She had already been scheduled to take time off from The View this month for rehearsals.
Her break sparked reports that Perez was leaving the daytime talk show for good. Co-host Rosie O’Donnell came to her defense earlier this month, saying on the show, “No matter what you read anywhere Rosie Perez is also coming back after she is done rehearsing her play.”
The View underwent a major shakeup after last season, with Barbara Walters, Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd all moving on from the show.
